HOW THE GOLD GETTER CAME TO BE

IT’S USES SPECIFICATIONS AND CONSTRUCTION

I would like to mention, I have been searching for GOLD since 1970, and I still love to get out on those beautiful creeks and continue to search for that elusive, shiney Gold. Over the years I have designed and used many different kinds of equipment to capture gold. Always trying to make it easier for the gold miner.

Here is the "THE GOLD GETTER" a handy, versatile, all around combination tool that can be used for various applications when attempting to recover placer gold.

This combination Rocker Box, Sluice highbanker was built from a gold prospectors point of view to make it easier by carrying one unit to do several jobs.

We call it a POWER ROCKER since it can be used with water pressure.

THEIR IS NO OTHER ROCKER/SLUICE LIKE IT

COMPLETELY ASSEMBLED AND READY TO USE.

INSTRUCTIONS AND METHODS OF USE ARE INCLUDED

GREAT FOR BACK PACKING.

This combination Rocker Box, Sluice, is effective in recovering GOLD down to very small particles. If used properly, no gold will escape the "GOLD GETTER."

It has been tested with water pump supply and as a sluice in free running water. As long as the water flow and angle of box is correct it works great.

The Gold Getter has been field tested to check for it’s effectiveness. The threaded pipe on bottom section makes it great to pump water directly into sluice when trying different methods of operation, such as HIGH BANKING.

The back is bolted on for added strength and easy removal with wing nuts. Bolts are cemented in so they will not fall out.

The sturdy plastic slide out tray is on the correct angle to hold the Gold. The best feature of the tray is that it's so easy to slide it out as often as you like to check for the trapped Gold.

When it is not legal to disturb streams in some areas, use it as a HIGHBANKER.

PLEASE CHECK ALL PHOTOS FOR COMPLETE DETAILS ON THE MANY USES OF THIS COMBINATION GOLD MINING TOOL.

The gold rocker was the favorite of the old time gold miners since it is easily portable, can be back packed as it weighs about as much as a rifle,

 (Only 9 pounds).

The 49er's found the rocker perfect when water supply was low. It works great in desert or dry mining areas as small amounts of water can be carried to site.

Water can be recycled in a tub with an inexpensive 12 volt motorcycle battery and submersible water pump.

When pump is not available simply pour water into rock box while rocking the box, it's a fun way to do it at creek side.

Easy to use, simply add dirt (hopefully with gold in it) to the removable rock box, while feeding water onto material and into rocker, rock the box with a jerking motion. Rocker should be set on an angle according to the amount of water going through so material will wash out (like a sluice).

Works ideally when water hose is used.

At times I have used a water hose at creek side simply by placing the hose in creek and start the water flow by gravity, it works!

The rocker box works great when concentrated material is fed into rock box, much faster when material has been classified.

Handy all around tool useful for many applications, such as taking material home and using the rocker on a table, saves the back that way. An inexpensive reducer and a water hose fitting, one that swivels, can be added to the 1" pipe to attach a water hose.

Another easy way to use the Rocker when using it with water power from hose is to place it on a five gallon bucket and have the tailings run into a plastic tub so as not to loose any Gold. This is a good way to process material faster and not be concerned about loosing Gold as the material in the tub can be panned out at a later time.

The fastest most effective way to process your diggings it to classify it first. I run the dirt through a 1/2" or a 3/4" screen into a bucket and then pour it into the Gold Getter. That gets rid of all the rocks and makes the sluice work much more efficient. This method works nice when two people are working together.

You can't beat the rocker when there is little or no water around, and it's a lot of fun to use, for the young and the not so young, KIDS LOVE IT.

Quality built for durability. Made of the best pine wood to be found.

All screwed together with phillip drive galvanized screws made specially for decks and outdoor furniture.

The wood was left untreated for individual choice on how to treat wood. It can easily be treated with water proofing, (suggested) such as deck waterproofing, it can be stained or painted.

Thompson's water seal in the spray can is fast and easy to apply, and makes the wood look great.

One fella bought one of our rockers and finished it with a marine varnish, looks sharp!

As photos show the slanted removable tray has a ribbed carpet that catches the gold, whatever gold gets by the tray is trapped by the bottom screen, the Aluminum riffles and the ribbed carpet.

The holes in the rock box screen are 1/2", The same size that are in a grizzly classifier. I added an extra screen with 1/4" holes to lay over the standard screen when adding small size material down to the black sand concentrates.

Box measures 24" long, 10" wide, 8" high. The rock box is 4" deep.

The price of Gold is on the rise, it only takes a thimble full to make an ounce.

Gotta go get some!

In regards to gold fever,

Sonny
